Missions Minute - Nick and Kelly Larson (November 7, 2024)

Kelly and Nick Larson are expecting a baby in January of 2025! With a new child on the way, they’ll need to move from their current rental by June of next year. Pray for wisdom as they decide whether to rent or buy a home and search for a location near campus. Nick and his family recently shared their need to raise an additional $400 in monthly support to reach full funding and prepare for their daughter’s arrival. H2O Kent recently held their annual Fall Retreat, offering students a 25-hour break from the busyness of school to focus on their relationship with God and connect with others. This retreat is a key event in their ministry, providing a chance for those already following Jesus to deepen their faith, while also inviting those who haven’t yet committed to consider a life with Jesus. Even small moments throughout the retreat open doors for meaningful conversations that can continue to impact students as the semester progresses.

Our prayer, friendship, and support go a long way in allowing events like Fall Retreat to happen!

Prayer Requests:
1. For our Senior Retreat: This weekend, we'll be helping graduating seniors feel prepared for their upcoming life change, with things like a financial workshop, prayer for their future, and advice on how to find a church after graduation! Pray that throughout the weekend, these seniors would feel celebrated, encouraged, and equipped for what comes next.
2. For our Coffee Table Outreach: We do this every Wednesday at 11am! Pray that the Lord would bring people to us who are ready to share their hearts and hear the Good News.
3. For our December 8th baptisms: Pray that students would get excited about proclaiming their faith, as we get ready to do our next round of baptisms next month!
