Missions Minute - Larsons (August 2024)

H2O Kent envisions a generation of young people transformed by God's love and empowered to impact the world.

Under the leadership of Nick and Kelly Larson, H2O Kent recognizes the vast mission field of college ministry. As the school year begins, they’ve been hard at work preparing to welcome students. Together with their leadership team, they have dedicated countless hours to planning for the year ahead. August is especially busy as they strive to connect with as many students as possible. Some of these students will be seeking a Christian community, some may be questioning their faith, and others might be hearing the story of Jesus for the first time.

Prayer Requests:

• Pray that God would guide their feet to those who are ready to hear the good news, as they will be walking around to meet new and returning students.
• Pray for Kent's Blastoff event on August 18, where every student organization sets up a table to share information. Please pray that those who pass by their booth will be curious and open to what they have to share.
• Pray for their Kickoff Service on Thursday, August 22, at the Kent State Student Center. Pray that many new students will stop by and engage with H2O church.

KYLE’S PRAYER REQUESTS:

• Prayers for LT Students! That they would grow in their love for God and effectiveness in ministry! Especially pray for Tyreek and Divine - we need more members who are totally on fire for God.
• Prayers for our summer preparations. That God would lead us in how we can impact more people for Him!
• Prayers for a Lindsey and I to also grow in our walks with Jesus at LT!
