Missions Minute - The Stewards (June 11, 2026)

This week’s missions minute focuses on Josh and Denise Steward who serve at Tralee Bible Fellowship in Tralee Ireland. Their goal is to lead people to Christ, disciple them, and then send them out to repeat the process again.

One of the most exciting projects going on in Tralee is Project 432. The goal is to raise funds so that a Baptist church can be built in Tralee. There are currently zero Baptist churches in Tralee, so this would be a step that would allow Pastor Josh to gain “credibility” in the eyes of the Irish people. There are many Catholic churches, which is what the people of Ireland are used to. Tralee Bible Fellowship is currently a church that meets on the second floor of a building, as opposed to meeting in a stand-alone church. It is for that reason that Pastor Josh has the goal to raise funds to buy land and build a church in the community. Project 432 is currently at 100% of phase one for the raising of funds! Phase one was meant to focus on acquiring the funds to secure land. They are now in phase two of their fundraising and are at 26% of their goal. Phase one was meant for acquiring the land and phase two is for the building. They are continuing to find different avenues to fundraise and could use prayer for those future events. Pastor Josh and Tralee Bible Fellowship take the month of May to focus on missions. They bring in missionaries to their church and allow those individuals to share with the church body. He mentioned that this past May had been successful.

Pastor Josh was also excited to share that they are now actively offering support to a new missionary. This means that their church is now able to help support four other missionaries around the globe. Another successful event that they have completed is an event called “All Fired Up.” This event allowed men to get together and shoot clay pigeons together and gather in fellowship. He was happy to share that there were people at the event who do not currently attend the church.

The future plans that Pastor Josh has that could use our prayer is the upcoming June baptism. He has mentioned that they have lately seen at least one individual being saved each month!

Finally, Pastor Josh wants the church to know how grateful that he is for all the support. It is
incredible to remember that God is working all around the world and bringing people to Himself. Other prayer requests include raising the funds for Project 432, his new grandchild that he plans to come and visit next spring, and finally for helpers or leaders to help with their church.
