Missions Minute - Traci Warner (March 18, 2026)

On January 19th, Traci traveled back to Nicaragua. In true Traci fashion, she hit the ground running in her various ministries.

Traci was able to help and participate in a medical clinic in February.
Teaching and encouraging women and children is a large part of her ministry. She continues to teach and lead her Impacto teens group.
On March 7th, Traci, along with Nicaraguan pastor Mendez and his wife Marbely, Carmen from ABWE’s Live Global, a team from Judson Baptist Church in Nashville, as well as our Ireland missionaries, Josh and Denise Steward, traveled to Havana, Cuba to help host a pastor’s conference and train national ministry leaders to run a VBS program. They faced some roadblocks and hurdles while there.

From Traci: “Our religious visas could not be processed due to a lack of electricity. Most of the 80 church leaders who were supposed to come to the capital for the training were now stranded in their hometowns due to a major fuel shortage. Because we now had to enter on tourist visas (instead of religious), we had to completely bend, stretch, and reshape our plans for the week. That included finding alternate housing at the last minute to comply with the host country’s requirements and totally altering the methods of our conference and training… We became creative to implement various tools to introduce the Cuban leaders to the VBS curriculum, which includes Bible lessons, songs, crafts, and games… we really just had to be flexible and depend upon God to lead and guide us.”
Thank you Summit church family for continuing to pray for Traci and her ministry in Nicaragua and around the world!
