Missions Minute - Dave and Jen Cox (July 31, 2025)

Dave and Jen Cox provide care and support to missionaries in North Africa, Europe, and the Middle East. After 29 years of living in Romania, they moved to the Boston area in May to continue their ministry.

It has been an eventful summer for the Coxes. After their move, Dave has had two surgeries to remove a malignant tumor from his vocal cord. The good news is since there was no spread, he will not need chemo or radiation treatments. Bad news is his voice has not returned. He is seeing a voice therapist, but it will be late September before they know how much of his voice he will recover.

Despite these challenges, Jen reports they are working well as a team to continue their ministry. Dave can write, type, listen, empathize, and pray. They are meeting, planning, and serving together.
They spent this past week in Germany at Reach Global’s staff conference where they led a workshop and connected with families of the missionaries they serve.

Pray for the recovery of Dave’s voice, pray for peace and trust as they walk through this time of transition in their lives, pray for God’s provision for their financial needs.
