Elevate: 6th-8th

We are not simply looking for volunteers to help run a program. We are looking for adults who have a heart for students and are willing to invest in their lives.
The greatest influence we can have on students comes through genuine relationships. Students are far more likely to listen to someone who knows them, cares about them, and has earned their trust.
Because of this, we expect leaders to:
  • Be intentional about getting to know students & building meaningful relationships.
  • Create a welcoming environment where every student feels seen, valued, & loved.
  • Engage students in conversation before, during, and after youth group.
  • Consistently show up and be present, as trust is built through reliability and repeated interactions.
  • Pray for students regularly and encourage them in their walk with Christ.
  • Seek opportunities to connect with students outside of weekly gatherings through events, camps, retreats, and other church activities.
  • Model authentic Christian faith and discipleship in both words and actions.
