Most of us have questions we've never quite said out loud — about whether any of this is real, whether faith is something reasonable people hold, whether Jesus was actually who he claimed to be. John wrote his gospel for people like that. Over the next year, we're reading John together — all of it, slowly, passage by passage. Forty-eight weeks. What we're going to find is not a distant theological figure but a Person. Someone who had conversations with people in the middle of their worst days. Who wept at a graveside, turned over tables in a temple, cooked fish on a beach for disciples who had just failed him. Who was, as John describes him, full of grace and truth — completely both, never one at the expense of the other. The question John keeps pressing is simple: Who do you say He is? That question is worth a year of your life. Because how you answer it changes everything.
